AAA Kindness Care Home is nestled in the foothills of Santa Maria, California. It is a very special 23 bed elderly care home that you and your loved ones will truly enjoy calling home. From our beautiful residential estate to our handpicked, highly trained care team; our sole focus is for you or your loved one to live the rest of your lives comfortably, with dignity and endless amounts of kindness and love. We specialize in nurturing joyful relationships in a small, “homey” setting. The owner, Amparo Hunt, grew up with 10 siblings, and to her, we are like one big, loving family here. We recognize that even when a person’s body is not working as well, that they can still feel real joy, inner peace, and love when they are in a homey environment with caring people who truly love them unconditionally. We have two great activities directors that cover the 7 days each week, and we enjoy great activities here, and in all that we do, we especially try to nurture uplifting, joyful, and loving relationships that bring real joy to our sweet elderly residents, and that help them to feel “at home” and loved, because in most cases, it will be their home until the day they leave this life to reunite with loved ones in heaven. We try very hard to have the best and most loving and joyful and happy care home anywhere —- as we focus on building and enjoying relationships here with our sweet residents who have lived good lives and deserve the very best for their last years, and with our loving team members, who get much satisfaction and joy through lovingly serving together. We normally have about 16 to 18 residents, but can have up to 23 residents in our 15 bedrooms, if some couples or singles want to share a bedroom for a reduced price.
The best way for you to learn what makes AAA Kindness Care Home so special for your loved one’s care is to come for a tour and experience it for yourself. Perhaps you’ll join in a lively game of cards, or bingo, or exercise class, or maybe you’ll visit our beautiful raised-bed vegetable garden. Or maybe you’ll just relax in the sun room or amazingly beautiful outside gazebo and enjoy the breathtaking views. Even though we have an incredibly beautiful and peaceful country setting here, it is only 11 minutes drive to Marian Medical Center/Hospital. One thing is for sure: it won’t be long before you, too, are experiencing the wonderful loving feeling that we all enjoy here. You will soon start to sense what an uplifting paradise this home can become for you or your loved one! You will start to understand what an amazing labor of love and service it has been from the beginning for Amparo Hunt as the owner, to pay attention to so much detail in the way she designed, built, and runs this care home in the amazing way that she and her loving team do it.
Good, tasty, and healthy food is very important to our sweet elderly residents, and our chef graduated from a quality chef training school in San Francisco, and has been a chef at several quality restaurants.
Our home is designed to give great care for residents over 60 years old and better, but we can accommodate other compatible individuals that need care, or even those with no health issues at all. We specialize in loving memory care for Seniors with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. We have a hospice waiver – meaning that in most cases a resident can stay right here at “their home”, with their beloved friends and trusted caregivers, until they pass on. We normally stay full just from word of mouth advertising, but call us for a tour, because maybe we have an opening for your loved one now. Or, after your tour, you can place your loved one on our waiting list to become one of our super lucky and blessed residents. A lady who knows nearly all of the facilities in the area, and who has done a lot of study on facilities all over the world, recently expressed that our home is definitely a “world class facility”. A couple of our favorite quotes that we keep in mind, are: “I know what joy is, for I have done good work”, and “The most important and joyful of all good work is sharing kindness and love with another child of God.”
